Outcast Academy is an amazing place to train! The location is very convenient and the atmosphere is welcoming from the very beginning. The coaches are professional, passionate, and great at working with both kids and adults. My son trains jiu-jitsu and MMA here, and I can see huge progress as well as his joy after every class. Start with our Grappling Fundamentals pathway or Beginners BJJ. You will learn positions, escapes and submissions in a safe, supportive class. Book your free first class to get started.
No. Classes scale to your level. You will build fitness, mobility and confidence as you train.
Comfortable sportswear and a bottle of water. We will advise on Gi or No-Gi after your first session. Loaner gear is often available for trials.
Gi uses a kimono for grips and control. No-Gi uses rashguard and shorts and focuses on body grips, clinch and leg entanglements. We teach both.
Yes. Grappling burns calories, improves cardio and builds functional strength. Pair classes with recovery and sensible nutrition for best results.
